PAN ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS

This easy and nutritious dish is high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The nutty flavor of the Brussels sprouts is brought to the forefront by roasting them, then amped up a notch with a kick of garlic, salt, and pepper.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Brussels sprouts

2 Tbsp coconut oil (melted)

2 garlic cloves (minced)

Salt and Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Slice in half or quarter the sprouts.

  • Toss them with the coconut oil and garlic on the baking sheet and spread out evenly.

  • Bake 12-15 minutes until slightly crispy.
