SINUS DRAINAGE BEDTIME ROUTINE

We are all suffering from allergies this season. I haven't had allergy issues in a lot of years and I've been hearing the same thing from a lot of people. So I wanted to share my bedtime routine to help you get your lymph moving, drain your sinuses, and get some much needed relief.

Before I got into the shower I did dry skin brushing and while I was showering I did some oil pulling with a teaspoon of Organic Coconut Oil in my mouth. I swished it around, to really get the lymph moving up and around my gums.

After my shower, I did a sinus massage. Start with clean dry fingertips and start massaging (at least 7 circles in each direction) around the top of your forehead, then down to your cheeks, next push towards your ears, and then underneath your ears and down your neck. Lastly, put your hands on your chest and gently pull down to open the lymphatic drains.

My right sinus is really, really blocked so I also did a castor oil pack on my cheek. I'll leave it on overnight and when I wake up in the morning my sinus will likely be drained.

During this time, I also try to avoid very high histamine foods and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I hope this was helpful!
